our story
After working 20+ years in the Los Angeles commercial production industry, I found myself looking for something different, something authentic, that brings people together to create a sense of community and genuine happiness.
In 2023, while working on a production set, I discovered New Zealand-style real fruit ice cream, where hard-scooped ice cream is swirled with frozen fruit to make a custom soft serve, right in front of the customer. The concept fascinated me.
What started as curiosity quickly became an obsession. I spent days testing ice creams, researching equipment, and refining the idea that would eventually become Jolly Jolt. I even imported a special machine from New Zealand to achieve the velvety texture that real fruit ice cream is known for. Along the way, I realized people wanted more than simply fruit in their ice cream, they wanted their favorite indulgent treats too.
Today, Jolly Jolt creates custom-made ice cream by freshly swirling super-premium ice cream with real fruit, cookies, cereals, candies, drizzles, and other mix-ins right before your eyes.
Whether we’re serving at a farmers market, community event, or private celebration, our goal is simple: give people a JOLLY JOLT!
